Sheryl Crow, Sarah McLachlan On New Stevie Nicks Album

Trouble in Shangri-La will also feature Macy Gray, Dixie Chicks' Natalie Maines.

Taking a page from Carlos Santana's Supernatural success, Stevie Nicks' upcoming Trouble in Shangri-La will feature a number of marquee guests, including Sheryl Crow, Macy Gray and Sarah McLachlan.

Fleetwood Mac's lace-festooned, mane-tossing diva will release the disc May 1, according to Reprise Records. Trouble in Shangri-La will be her first album since 1994's Street Angel.

Crow produced half of the record and contributes guitar and backing vocals on "Sorcerer," while Gray sings on the track "Bombay Sapphire." McLachlan sings backing vocals on "Love Is," and the Dixie Chicks' Natalie Maines can be heard singing backup on "Too Far From Texas."

Apart from Crow, Trouble in Shangri-La was produced by Pierre Marchand, McLachlan's longtime producer, and John Shanks, who played guitar on the Corrs' Talk on Corners and produced BBMak's Sooner or Later.

The past two months have been Nicks' most active since Fleetwood Mac's 1997 reunion: Last month, Fleetwood Mac — every member of the classic '70s lineup save for Christine McVie — played a surprise farewell concert for President Clinton and Sen. Hillary Clinton at the White House. And last week, the soundtrack from the Keanu Reeves-Charlize Theron film Sweet November was released, featuring Nicks' "Touched by an Angel."
