Fleetwood Mac - FAN REVIEWS

04/13/2013 United Center Chicago, IL

Ellie
I've seen Stevie solo three times (2007, 2011, and 2012) and the Mac three times (2004, 2009, 2013), and I can say without a doubt that this was BY FAR the best I've ever seen either Stevie OR the band. They were ON FIRE. Lindsey and Stevie seem to be getting along better than they did during the last few tours, and every song was incredible. The chemistry was at a level that it hasn't appeared to be at since The Dance. The arrangements were killer, and the inclusion of new and rare material was a real treat. I will admit that "Sisters of the Moon" was a slight letdown, because nothing compares to that classic 1982 performance that's floating around on YouTube, but considering that Stevie was sober and 65 this time, HOLY COW. She's still got it. Side note: she is back to wearing heels, and she looks a lot younger than she did back in '04 and '09. Money is tight for me right now, but I'm still considering buying a ticket for the second Chicago show (6/14/13). I've never been compelled to see either Stevie or the band twice on the same tour before, mostly because of money and the fact that I always have to drive 2-3 hours to the venue, but this time I don't care. The show was so incredible last night that it's worth it to me. The band hasn't been this good in ages, and they won't be touring forever, so I'm going to go while I can.
