From the rocking opener Stand Back to the piano-only accompaniment Love Is closer, Stevie had the enthralled crowd in the palm of her hand. The show at the Ent Cent was fantastic. Stevie came onstage at 9pm to thunderous applause and it does it get much better than Stand Back (yes it does!!) A mix of old and new, and it was great hearing the new songs from In Your Dreams live - Secret Love, Moonlight (A Vampire's Kiss), For What It's Worth, Annabel Lee, Ghosts Are Gone - she had the place spellbound the entire 2 hours she played. In between she talked about writing the songs, and recording them, visiting the soldiers and what it has all meant to her ,, dropping in a few names of the people and places along the way. The photo and video montage during Landslide was such a treat - a trip back through 30 years since Bella Donna. Rhiannon almost brought the house down, until Edge of Seventeen :-) Dreams, Gold Dust Woman, Leather & Lace (dueting with her vocal coach) ,,,,, and her band are excellent, such great musicians all of them. I have had the good fortune of seeing Stevie, solo and with Fleetwood Mac, a few times over the years and she never disappoints (she never could.) It was a fantastic show. Thank you Stevie for all you give your fans. She said a few times how much she appreciates her fans and doesn't take any of it for granted. The feeling is certainly mutual. If you weren't there you really missed out.

I have just returned home from the Sydney Entertainment Centre where Stevie has held her fifth Australian concert. The show was a 'leg breaker' and finished with a standing ovation from an almost packed house. Some great new songs mixed with her trademark Fleetwood Mac songs sent the audience wild. Stevie came back for two encores. Highly recommended!!!...and if she's in the market for a new man..., I'm up for it.
A totally unique entertainer, unique voice and unique personality make for a very unique concert experience.
