NEW YORK, May 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Superstar Stevie Nicks and VH1 are making beautiful music together which was reflected by the stunning debut of her long-awaited, critically-acclaimed TROUBLE IN SHANGRI-LA with sales of more than l00,000 units, a No. 5 debut on Billboard's Top 200 Album Chart and the No. l selling CD on the Internet Sales Chart.

The album's strong showing was first made apparent by the exclusive VH1.com advance sale program, "VH1 Hear Music First" The program launched with Nicks' record label, Reprise, in mid April marked the first time fans could pre-purchase a new CD release and have exclusive advance access to the entire album online at VH1.com. "VH1 Hear Music First" allowed users to listen to a CD instantly after pre-ordering it from VH1.com. In addition to getting a stream of the CD, users who pre-order are able to get the album artwork, lyrics, liner notes, interviews and more. On the day of the album's official release, fans had the new CD sent to them directly by VH1.

VH1 also supported Stevie Nicks making her "VH1 Artist of the Month" for May. Programming has included the following:
