Rock singer Stevie Nicks postponed two concerts Monday -- including one tonight at Virginia Beach Amphitheater -- because of illness. Nicks will skip tonight's show as well as Wednesday's in Raleigh, N.C., then resume her tour in Charlotte, N.C., on Friday, according to a release from promoters Clear Channel Entertainment.

A spokesman for Virginia Beach Amphitheater said that a rescheduled date for Nicks' local concert may be announced as early as today.

For information on refunds, call the amphitheater at 368-3000, or return tickets to the place of purchase.

Nicks became famous in the 1970s as part of the band Fleetwood Mac and sang on that group's landmark album "Rumors." She is known for the tunes "Rhiannon (Will You Ever Win)" "Dreams," "Stand Back," and "Talk To Me."

Earlier this year, she released "Trouble in Shangri-La," her first album of new material in seven years.
