Tell me a little about your history, like where you grew up,
how you got into performing / singing.
grew up in Louisville, Kentucky. Some of my sweetest memories
are of my Dad singing bits of old country songs in his lighthearted
moments, and my Grandmother singing hymns as we would glide
in her front porch swing. As a child, my dreams were more of
seeing the world than of being a singer, even though I loved
to sing... so I was ecstatic when the opportunity came to join
a band and travel.

I was singing in a club in Miami when I met the drummer for Joe Walsh, who eventually got my husband and me on a Joe Walsh tour. I was so excited to be singing background vocals for Joe, but I was thrilled when I learned we were going to be opening the show for Stevie Nicks. That was the "Wild Heart" tour in 1984... and this is how I met Stevie.

What song do you like performing with Stevie the most and why?
have many favorite Stevie songs for many different reasons,
but singing background vocals with Stevie while she sang "Rhiannon"
use to fill me with absolute awe and overwhelming gratitude.
I use to sing that one in my bar band at 2:00 in the morning,
wondering where my life would go from there - never imagining
I would someday be on stage with Stevie Nicks.
